In June 2024, I participated in the CAMPBIENT sound art residency, held that year in Millersylvania State Park near Olympia, WA. At CAMPBIENT, resident artists spend 48 hours camping at the host location and working in groups to create fixed media compositions using the sounds of the environment. I and a group of several other artists collaborated to create track 2 on the album: “Unidentified (Black CCC Worker), Found Recording, Millersylvania State Park, WA, 1933.”
